Scheduled to premiere on June 13th (Friday) at 9:50 PM, the new SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Our Movie' (written by Han Ga-eun and Kang Kyung-min, directed by Lee Jung-heum) tells the urgent love story of a director, Lee Je-ha (played by Namkoong Min), who feels his career has no future, and an actress, Lee Da-eum (played by Jeon Yeo-bin), who believes today could be her last.
In the drama, director Lee Je-ha, who doubts the spotlight he once received and struggles with announcing his next project, is approached by producer Boo Seung-won (played by Seo Hyun-woo). Boo offers him the chance to direct a remake of a film by the once-great Korean director Lee Doo-young.
Although the two shared glory with their debut film, Boo Seung-won became a hitmaker, producing one blockbuster after another, while Lee Je-ha fell into a prolonged slump. Boo's irresistible offer marks the beginning of their collaboration on a new project.
While both men aim to create a film beloved by the public, their differing perspectives as director and producer create a tense atmosphere. Lee Je-ha's focus on authenticity and quality clashes with Boo Seung-won's need to produce a commercially successful film.
Their strong friendship, forged during their debut, hints at an evolving relationship as they reunite for this project. Lee Je-ha's seriousness and Boo Seung-won's seasoned, easygoing nature as a producer promise a unique chemistry.
The exceptional talent of Namkoong Min (as Lee Je-ha) and the distinctive presence of Seo Hyun-woo (as Boo Seung-won) are set to elevate the anticipation for their on-screen synergy. The film they've passionately committed to is eagerly awaited.
The dream project of director Namkoong Min and producer Seo Hyun-woo will be unveiled in 'Our Movie', premiering on June 13th (Friday) at 9:50 PM.
