BTS JIN's solo album has reached a new personal best on the US Billboard charts.

According to a chart preview article posted on the official website of Billboard, a leading music publication in the US, on the 26th (Korean time), Jin's second mini-album 'Echo' has climbed to the 3rd spot on the main album chart, the 'Billboard 200' (for the week of May 31). This marks the highest position for a solo album by Jin on the 'Billboard 200'. His previous work, 'Happy', released in November 2024, had peaked at 4th place on this chart.

'Echo' is an album that portrays the various moments of life spreading out like echoes in different forms. Jin has managed to draw empathy from music fans by unraveling stories and emotions that everyone may have experienced at least once, through his unique perspective.

The album, which includes a total of 7 tracks, encompasses a wide range of genres including pop-punk, country rock, Brit rock, J-rock, alternative rock, and ballad pop, all grounded in a band sound. Jin has been praised for showing an expanded musical world through his delicate emotions and vocals that perfectly match the sentiment of each track.

'Echo' has also made waves in the UK, entering the 'Official Charts Album Top 100' (for the week of May 23-29) at 63rd place. This is the first time one of his solo works has entered both the US 'Billboard 200' and the UK's 'Official Charts Album Top 100', which are considered two of the world's major album charts.

The popularity of the album's tracks is also formidable. The title track 'Don't Say You Love Me' from 'Echo' soared to 2nd place on Spotify's 'Daily Top Songs Global' chart (as of May 24). The song also ranked 58th on the UK's 'Official Chart Singles Top 100' and hit number one in three sub-charts: 'Single Downloads', 'Single Sales', and 'Physical Singles'.

JIN is set to hold his first solo fan concert tour '#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR' on June 28-29 at the Goyang Sports Complex Auxiliary Stadium in Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang. Following this, he will meet fans worldwide with 18 performances across nine cities including Chiba and Osaka in Japan, Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, Newark in the US, London in the UK, and Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

Meanwhile, BTS, the group to which JIN belongs, has placed a total of six albums ('LOVE YOURSELF 轉 'Tear'', 'LOVE YOURSELF 結 'Answer'', 'MAP OF THE SOUL : PERSONA', 'MAP OF THE SOUL : 7', 'BE', 'Proof') at the top of the 'Billboard 200'.
