On the 20th, Hwaseong Unique Hospital, managed by Director Heo Il, Yeom Jung-ah's husband, celebrated its elevation to a general hospital with a ceremony held in the new wing's 7th-floor Sky Garden. The event was graced by the presence of Hwaseong Mayor Jeong Myeong-geun and Yeom Jung-ah, the director's wife, who came to celebrate the hospital's new status.
Mayor Jeong Myeong-geun shared on his social media, "Introducing the second general hospital in the western region of Hwaseong, Hwaseong Unique Hospital," along with a photo taken with the couple, Yeom Jung-ah and Director Heo Il.
Mayor Jeong stated, "The western region of Hwaseong, despite its vast area, has suffered from a lack of medical infrastructure, with only one general hospital available, causing inconvenience and concern among many citizens. Today, we are here to bridge this healthcare gap with the 'Hwaseong Unique Hospital General Hospital Promotion Ceremony'."
He continued, "Since its opening in 2019, Hwaseong Unique Hospital has become one of the leading hospitals in the western region, offering a total of 12 medical departments including obstetrics and gynecology, which started seeing patients from February 3rd this year, firmly taking charge of the health of the western Hwaseong region."
Yeom Jung-ah married Heo Il, a doctor one year her senior, in 2006 and they have a son and a daughter together.
