Actor Yoo Seung-ho has shown his warm heart for critically ill children and their families.
According to his agency, 333, on the 20th, Yoo Seung-ho donated 10 million won to RMHC Korea in celebration of Family Month. RMHC Korea is a global non-profit organization responsible for building and operating 'Ronald McDonald House', a nearby shelter where critically ill children and their families can stay together during treatment.
The donation will be used to provide a comfortable haven and support for more families of critically ill children, including the construction of new houses in the metropolitan area, allowing them to focus on long-term outpatient treatment.
Previously, Yoo Seung-ho visited the Ronald McDonald House located in Yangsan, Gyeongsangnam-do, in April, where he toured the facility and delivered heartfelt support and gifts to the children and their families, showing his genuine compassion.
Yoo Seung-ho expressed, "I am grateful to share the deep love I've received over a long time in a meaningful way. I joined this cause hoping that the children can alleviate their pain in the warm embrace of their families, rest without worries in a caring space, and receive treatment. I hope to be a small part of the hope and courage for these children as they move towards their dreams."
Furthermore, Yoo Seung-ho has been selected as the ambassador for the '2025 McDonald's Happy Walk' taking place on the 25th. The event, where steps are donated, aligns with his commitment to continue practicing positive influence by walking alongside participating families. The entire participation fee, including Yoo Seung-ho's donation, will be given to RMHC Korea to support treatment and aid for critically ill children and their families.
Meanwhile, Yoo Seung-ho is delivering a dense and poignant performance as Brutus, who betrays a friend for the ideal of the republic, in the play 'Killing Caesar'.
'Killing Caesar', a reinterpretation of Shakespeare's classic 'Julius Caesar', is available until July 20th at the Mary Hall Grand Theater of Sogang University.
