Premiering on June 13th (Friday) at 9:50 PM, the new SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Our Movie' (written by Han Ga-eun and Kang Kyung-min, directed by Lee Jung-heum) tells the urgent love story of a film director, Lee Je-ha (played by Namkoong Min), who has no tomorrow, and an actress, Lee Da-eum (played by Jeon Yeo-been), who lives as if today is her last.
In the drama, Jeon Yeo-been plays Lee Da-eum, a terminally ill actress who gets the chance to become a lead actress at the end of her life. Despite battling a terminal illness, Da-eum is a free spirit with a cheerful personality and natural charisma, living each day with vigor. She dreams of one day becoming a protagonist and tirelessly works towards her dream, even amidst her struggle with illness.
One day, Da-eum's passion for acting leads her to an unexpected opportunity. She becomes a consultant for a movie production featuring a terminally ill character as the lead. Seizing the moment, she auditions and is cast as the lead actress, marking the beginning of her final leap before the end credits of her life roll.
Photos released on the 14th show Da-eum's hopeful demeanor despite her illness. Her bright face, persevering through hardships and adversity, inspires support for her daily life.
Particularly, Jeon Yeo-been's portrayal of Da-eum's journey to her first leading role is garnering attention. Known for her versatile charm and solid emotional acting across various characters, Jeon's performance is expected to breathe life into Da-eum's story, warming the hearts of viewers.
