Singer BIBI is set to release her second full album with double title tracks.
Slated for release on the 12th, BIBI's highly anticipated second full album 'EVE: ROMANCE' features the double title tracks 'The End of the Apple Tree' (literal title) and 'Bookstore Bro & Literary Girl' (literal title), exploring the dual aspects of love. The journey of emotions, from inception to conclusion, and the contrast between fantasy and reality, warmth and emptiness, are vividly portrayed through these two songs.
'The End of the Apple Tree' poses questions about existence before love. Starting with the question, "What made us before love came into being?", the song delves into something that existed even before the language of emotions was formed. With restrained vocals and solid sound gaps, it leaves an impression without explicitly speaking of love, conveying a broader spectrum of emotions.
The other title track, 'Bookstore Bro & Literary Girl', stands out with its playful and character-driven approach, weaving through the complexities of relationships. The cleverly written lyrics and realistic observations are condensed into a track that showcases BIBI's unique charm.
The album consists of a total of 14 tracks, including pre-released singles and six new songs. In addition to the title tracks, trailers for new tracks have been specially produced and will be released sequentially leading up to the album launch.
BIBI has been involved in writing, composing, and producing all the songs on the album, meticulously crafting her own universe. By introducing two personas, 'EVE' and 'EVE-1', she creates a structure that looks at love from different perspectives and emotions. This approach adds a unique twist to the common love story by incorporating 'the way I see myself'.
As an all-around artist, BIBI is embarking on another narrative with the release of her second full album. The special 'love' story that was confirmed with the 'Bam Yang Gang' phenomenon will be fully unveiled in 'EVE: ROMANCE' on the 12th.
