On the 1st, Ace Factory announced the signing, expressing their delight in welcoming Kim Taeyeon, who charmed global audiences with her role in "When Life Gives You Tangerines." "We are thrilled to have an actress of Kim Taeyeon's boundless potential and innate talent join our family. We will not spare any support to fuel her future growth," they stated.
Having signed with Ace Factory, Kim Taeyeon recently gained international attention for her role as young Aesoon in the Netflix series "When Life Gives You Tangerines." She not only portrayed Aesoon, dubbed a 'feisty rebel,' with determination and grit but also moved viewers as a young daughter saying goodbye to her mother, Kwangrye (played by Yeom Hye-ran). Particularly, the narrative arc of her character at the beginning of the series solidly built up Aesoon's growth, making the audience reminisce about her childhood and grow even fonder of her.

Kim Taeyeon's powerful performance has garnered acclaim from both domestic and international audiences, earning her a nomination for the Best New Actress in the Television category at the upcoming 61st Baeksang Arts Awards on May 5th.
Ace Factory, which has now signed Kim Taeyeon, is a comprehensive entertainment company encompassing drama production and management. The company boasts a roster of actors including Lee Jong-suk, Lee Jun-hyuk, Lee Si-young, Yoo Jae-myung, Yeom Hye-ran, Yoon Se-ah, Lee Kyu-hyung, Jang Seung-jo, Moon Jung-hee, among others. Notably, Kim Taeyeon will continue her on-screen mother-daughter relationship with Yeom Hye-ran as fellow members of the same agency.
