Actor Noh Sang-Hyun has been honored with the Marie Claire Award at the 12th Marie Claire Film Festival.

On the 25th, at the CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall, Noh Sang-Hyun attended the 12th Marie Claire Film Festival (MCFF) and received the prestigious Marie Claire Award for his role in 'Love in the Big City'.

The Marie Claire Film Festival is an awards ceremony hosted by the fashion magazine Marie Claire, which has shown respect and affection for the film industry, theaters, actors, and audiences. Noh was awarded the Marie Claire Award, a tribute to the most promising directors and actors in Korean cinema, whose future works are highly anticipated. He also participated in a Q&A session with the audience.

Noh expressed his gratitude, saying, "I'm thankful for this prestigious award. It feels like I keep receiving gifts thanks to 'Love in the Big City'. I believe the spotlight is on me because I had the opportunity to work on a great film with an amazing director and actress Kim Go-eun. I hope to see more films embracing diversity in the future, and I will continue to challenge myself with a variety of roles and dedicate myself to acting."

'Love in the Big City', based on the novel of the same name by author Park Sang-Young, depicts the special relationship between Jae-hee, a free spirit, and Heung-su, who lives distanced from the world. Taking on his first leading role on the screen, Noh played Heung-su, who is cautious about love and prefers to keep others at a distance. He delicately portrayed Heung-su's gradual change, leaving a deep impression on the audience. His performance earned him the Best New Actor award at the 45th Blue Dragon Film Awards and the Best New Actor award at the 11th Korean Film Producers Association Awards, making him one of the most watched actors in the industry.

Furthermore, following his success in 'Love in the Big City' and the 12th Marie Claire Film Festival, Noh has been nominated for the Best New Actor in the film category at the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards, raising expectations. He is also set to continue his rise to stardom with his next projects, 'Everything Will Come True' by writer Eun-sook Kim and the highly anticipated MBC drama '21st Century Grand Prince’s Wife', set to air in the first half of 2026.
