Actress Chun Woo-hee has officially joined the fan communication platform Hiand, promising to connect with her fans on a deeper level. Starting today (April 18), Chun will begin engaging directly with her fanbase through the platform.
Hiand is a dedicated fandom platform designed to foster closer relationships between actors and their fans. The service officially launched in November last year, with actors Ji Chang-wook, Park Seo-joon, and Lee Jong-suk as its founding members.
Since then, a growing list of stars―including Hwang In-yeop, Woo Do-hwan, Byun Yo-han, Park Hyung-sik, and Jinyoung―have joined, making Hiand a vibrant hub for fan-actor interaction. Actor Lee Jun-hyuk even made headlines by communicating with fans in character, adding a unique twist to the platform. Chun Woo-hee’s arrival is especially notable as she becomes only the second female actor to join, following Han So-hee.
Chun Woo-hee first captured the public’s attention with her breakout role in the 2011 film “Sunny.” Since then, she has built a reputation for her versatility and depth, starring in acclaimed projects like “Han Gong-ju,” “The Wailing,” “Be Melodramatic,” and “Unlocked.” Last year, she drew widespread attention with her performances in JTBC’s “The Atypical Family” and the Netflix series “The 8 Show,” both of which topped Netflix Korea’s Top 10 list, proving her broad appeal with both critics and audiences.
Later this year, Chun will star in the upcoming JTBC drama “My Youth,” where she will play Seong Je-yeon, a woman who disrupts the peaceful life of her first love, played by Song Joong-ki as Seon Woo-hae. The series promises a nuanced and emotional romance.
With her debut on Hiand, Chun Woo-hee is launching both the “Lounge” and “DM (Direct Message)” features, allowing for more personal and immediate communication with fans. The Lounge will offer a glimpse into Chun’s daily life, exclusive content, and updates on her projects, all in one place. The DM service supports real-time messaging with automatic translation, so fans can send and receive not just text, but also photos and voice messages.
To celebrate Chun’s arrival, Hiand is rolling out a variety of special content and interactive events for fans. Details on these exclusive experiences can be found on the Hiand app.
A Hiand representative shared, “We’re thrilled to welcome Chun Woo-hee, an actress who has earned deep trust through her talent and authenticity. We’re committed to providing even more engaging content and continuously enhancing our platform so she can connect with fans in meaningful ways.”
