'Breakfast Club for the Brokenhearted' is a film adaptation of the 2012 novel by Baek Young-ok. The story follows Sagan (played by Suzy) and Ji-hoon (played by Lee Jin-wook) as they join a breakfast club where members exchange 'heartbreak mementos' and share their personal stories and pain, exploring how they cope with breakups and heartache.
On the 18th, production company With Ace Studio unveiled character stills of the film's leads, Suzy (as Sa-gang) and Lee Jin-wook (as Ji-hoon). Both actors, known for their prowess in the romance genre, captivate with expressions that conceal inner pain. Their melancholic and poignant gazes promise a film rich in emotion.
'Breakfast Club for the Brokenhearted' is currently in post-production, aiming for a theatrical release in the winter of 2025.
