
Actor So Ji-sub successfully held a solo fan meeting in Japan.
On the 5th of this month, So Ji-sub hosted a solo fan meeting titled 'SONICe Trip' in Tokyo, creating special memories with his fans. Initially planned as a single event, the fan meeting was extended to two sessions on the same day due to overwhelming demand from fans.
Amidst the enthusiastic cheers of fans filling the venue, So Ji-sub made a surprise entrance from the audience, serenading them with 'Can't You Smile Without You' to kick off the event on a sweet note.
The fan meeting, themed as a 'spring journey' with fans, saw So Ji-sub express his excitement, saying, "It's been too long since we last met. I was so nervous and couldn't sleep well last night, but seeing your faces has turned my nerves into the delightful anticipation you feel before a trip. I hope you enjoy this journey with me today."

The event featured a quiz where fans guessed So Ji-sub's travel preferences and shared behind-the-scenes stories from his past projects. He also piqued fans' curiosity by discussing his upcoming Netflix series 'Square.'
Actors Ok Taec-yeon and Cha Hak-yeon made special guest appearances, elevating the atmosphere to its peak. The trio performed 'Time Walks,' a song written and composed by Ok Taec-yeon specifically for the fan meeting, delivering an emotionally charged performance.
Ok Taec-yeon, speaking fluent Japanese, explained, "I imagined Ji-sub holding hands with his fans and walking through time when I created this song," earning a big round of applause. Cha Hak-yeon humorously added, "Today marks the debut of 'SoOkCha,' please give us lots of support," bringing laughter to the audience.
Following this, a 'mini sports day' segment was held, where So Ji-sub, Ok Taec-yeon, and Cha Hak-yeon completed relay missions to win gifts for fans. Their playful chemistry and teamwork filled the venue with laughter and cheers, and they added a special touch by gifting fans with perfumes they had personally prepared.
Before leaving the stage, Ok Taec-yeon expressed his joy, saying, "I'm so happy to have experienced this time with Ji-sub and all of you, even if it was brief. Please continue to show lots of love for our Ji-sub." Cha Hak-yeon added, "Seeing you all beside Ji-sub makes him a truly happy person. I hope you'll keep supporting him unwaveringly," leaving a heartfelt impression on the fans.

To conclude the fan meeting, So Ji-sub sang SMAP's 'The Only Flower in the World' for his Japanese fans and engaged in a 'handshake event,' making eye contact and shaking hands with each fan, demonstrating his affection until the very end.
So Ji-sub is set to return to viewers in the first half of this year with the Netflix series 'Square.'
