YouTuber Tzuyang (Park Jung-won), who filed a complaint against Kim Se-eui, the head of the YouTube channel Hover Lab, for violating the Stalking Punishment Act, left the police station just 30 minutes into the investigation, raising questions about the circumstances.

On the morning of the 16th, Tzuyang was at the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul for an investigation regarding her accusations of stalking and threats against Kim Se-eui. However, she left the station after only 30 minutes, expressing her refusal to continue with the investigation.

Tzuyang's legal representative, Attorney Kim Tae-yeon, stated, "It seemed the police did not consider her a victim and showed no intention of providing protection. This led us to question the fairness of the investigation, so we decided to reassess the situation and will consider participating in the investigation again if necessary."

Before the investigation, Tzuyang had expressed her determination to cooperate, saying, "Even though it's tough and frightening, I want to ensure that no one else has to go through this, so I will participate sincerely in the investigation."

According to Tzuyang's side, Kim Se-eui allegedly harassed her by mentioning her over 30 to 40 times from July to October last year, leading to two provisional measures being issued against him.

Previously, Tzuyang had filed charges against Kim for violating the Stalking Punishment Act, as well as for threats and coercion. However, in February of this year, the police decided not to forward the case due to insufficient evidence. The prosecution later accepted Tzuyang's appeal and requested supplementary investigation from the police last month.

In a February interview with JTBC News, Tzuyang shared her distress, saying, "There are secondary harms being done, like rumors of me being a Chinese spy or being involved in politics. I've never even been to China, and I have no political ties. People say I'm pretending to be a victim or that the prosecution is moving too quickly, suggesting I have connections with them. It feels like they just want to destroy me."
