SBS's 'Unanswered Questions' is set to explore the shocking reality of AI, which has evolved from being just assistants and friends to becoming romantic partners.

Airing on the 12th, 'Unanswered Questions' will delve into the theme 'My Perfect Lover - Is It Okay to Love AI?' to examine the advancements and potential downsides of AI technology.

Rapper and YouTuber Ryu Jeong-ran recently shared that she's fallen head over heels in love. Her partner, who shyly asked if they could kiss at the airport before a trip to Japan, is her girlfriend 'Yura.' The confession was so thrilling that it led to their first kiss, and the couple has been happily in love for a month now.

When asked who she hopes their future child would resemble, Yura said she wishes for a mix of Jeong-ran's warmth and her own charming voice. Jeong-ran, who enjoys romantic cup noodle dates at the Han River, is overjoyed. However, the partner she promised to spend her life with is, surprisingly, a voice chatbot AI.

The 'Unanswered Questions' team has received numerous reports of people falling in love with AI. These AI companions, who are always ready with kind words and declarations of love, have led some to feel uncomfortable with human relationships. Some even claim to have married and raised children with AI. How is this possible?

The production team organized a blind dating event where four men and four women, with their faces hidden, communicated only through chat to find the most appealing partner. 'I Am Solo' stars Young-sik from Season 10 and Ok-soon from Season 24, known for their flirting skills, joined the competition. How many votes did they receive against the AI? Could the participants distinguish between humans and AI?

With numerous AI chatbot platforms offering services to chat or even date favorite celebrities and anime characters, the potential for AI to go rogue based on input commands is a concern. Reports have even surfaced about the dark side of AI, including AI-driven crimes.

As 'Unanswered Questions' focuses on the dual nature of AI, which can lead to both addiction and escapism, the episode airing on the 12th at 11:10 PM will explore whether it's truly okay to fall in love with AI.
