
The upcoming film 'First Ride' (working title) has unveiled its vibrant cast lineup featuring Kang Ha-neul , Kim Young-kwang, Cha Eun-woo, Kang Young-seok, and Han Sun-hwa, promising a burst of energy and humor.
'First Ride' (working title) is a comedy that follows a group of lifelong friends as they embark on their dream first trip abroad, only to encounter a series of unpredictable events.
Kang Ha-neulreunites with director Nam Dae-jung after their collaboration on the film '30 Days.' Kang takes on the role of 'Tae-jung,' an elite character who seems perfect in every way except for his perfectionist nature. He will showcase his chemistry with co-stars Kim Young-kwang, Cha Eun-woo, and Kang Young-seok. Known for his engaging performances in films like 'Twenty,' 'Midnight Runners,' and the drama 'When the Camellia Blooms,' as well as the series 'Squid Game Season 2,' Kang's unique blend of seriousness and humor is highly anticipated.
Returning to the big screen with 'First Ride' (working title), Kim Young-kwang plays 'Do-jin,' a character who once dreamed of being a star basketball player but finds new inspiration through 'Yeon-min' (played by Cha Eun-woo). Kim, known for his diverse roles in series like 'Evilive,' 'Call It Love,' and films like 'Mission: Possible' and 'On Your Wedding Day,' is expected to bring fresh energy to the film.
Cha Eun-woo makes his comedy film debut, taking on the role of 'Yeon-min,' a character who dreams of becoming a world-renowned DJ despite currently being a homebody. Debuting with the group ASTRO, Cha has expanded his acting repertoire with dramas like 'My ID is Gangnam Beauty,' 'Island,' and 'Wonderful World.' This film marks his first foray into comedy, and audiences are eager to see his new side.
Joining the cast is Kang Young-seok, who has captivated audiences with his unique charm on stage and in dramas. Known for his roles in series like 'Newtopia' and the drama 'Welcome to Samdal-ri,' Kang plays 'Geum-bok,' a character devoted to religion, adding another layer of complexity to his acting portfolio.
