
Kang Ha-neul, who plays a broker orchestrating a drug ring in the film 'Yadang: The Snitch,' shared that he had to walk a fine line between being likable and unlikable.
At the press screening and conference for 'Yadang: The Snitch' held at Megabox COEX in Seoul on the afternoon of the 7th, Kang Ha-neul discussed his character, Lee Kang-soo. He said, "I was concerned that if I appeared too evil, the audience might find the character unlikable. But I also didn't want to justify his actions. I had many discussions with the director about maintaining that balance. I hope the audience will be curious about what this character will do next as they watch the film."
Kang Ha-neul's character, Lee Kang-soo, is a broker who designs a drug ring known as the 'Yadang: The Snitch.' Kang skillfully portrays a character who navigates between drug criminals and law enforcement, all while pursuing his own interests. His realistic depiction of drug addiction further enhances the audience's immersion in the film.

Regarding his portrayal of drug addiction, he added, "I'm not actually part of a drug ring, of course. I aimed to portray the addiction convincingly through my acting."
'Yadang: The Snitch' is a crime action film that weaves together the stories of a broker orchestrating a drug ring, a prosecutor aiming for higher power, and a detective dedicated to eradicating drug crimes, each driven by different motives. The film is set to release on April 16.
