Ha Seo-yoon has been selected as a nominee for the 'Best New Actress in Film' category at the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards with Gucci, the only comprehensive arts awards in Korea, which will be held on May 5th.
The Baeksang Arts Awards is the only comprehensive arts award in Korea that honors artists in the fields of television, film, and theater that have aired or been screened in the past year. Ha Seo-yoon proudly earned her nomination for her role in the film 'Streaming,' which was released in March.
In 'Streaming,' Ha Seo-yoon transformed into the character Matilda, a guest streamer who broadcasts alongside crime channel streamer Woo-sang (played by Kang Ha-neul). Her dramatic visual transformation and intense performance in single-take scenes left a strong impression on audiences, marking a significant departure from her previous roles.
Moreover, Ha Seo-yoon has built a solid filmography by exploring various genres and media, from the film 'Time to Shine' to Disney+'s 'The Worst of Evil,' tvN's 'Captivating the King,' JTBC's 'Family by Choice,' and KBS's 'Iron Family.' Her impressive work has led to her nomination for the Best New Actress award at this year's Baeksang Arts Awards, drawing public attention as a promising 'rising star.'
Meanwhile, Ha Seo-yoon is currently preparing for her next project. The 61st Baeksang Arts Awards with Gucci, where she is nominated for Best New Actress, will take place on May 5th at 8 PM at COEX D Hall.
