The group (G)I-DLE is set to heat up Japan this summer.
(G)I-DLE will join the lineup for 'Summer Sonic 2025,' taking place on August 16 and 17 at Tokyo's Zozo Marine Stadium, Makuhari Messe, and Osaka's Expo '70 Commemorative Park. The group will perform in Tokyo on the 16th and in Osaka on the 17th, meeting fans on both days.
Since its inception in 2000, 'Summer Sonic' has grown into one of Japan's premier music festivals, attracting not only Asian music fans but also global attention. The festival has hosted a wide array of artists from around the world, spanning genres like rock, pop, and EDM.
This year marks (G)I-DLE's debut at Summer Sonic, and they are expected to deliver a memorable performance. The 'Summer Sonic 2025' lineup also includes pop stars Alicia Keys and Camila Cabello, American band Fall Out Boy, and British electronic music band The Prodigy, promising an electrifying festival atmosphere.
Previously, (G)I-DLE headlined the 'mynavi presents The Performance 2025' at Japan's K Arena Yokohama on March 29, showcasing their top-tier live performance skills. They also appeared on the Japanese TBS morning show 'LOVE it!' on March 31, further solidifying their presence in Japan.
