HYBE is stepping up to support the restoration of national heritage sites damaged by recent large-scale wildfires in the Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk regions.

On April 2, HYBE announced its donation of 1 billion won to the Cultural Heritage Administration and the National Trust for Cultural Heritage. The National Trust for Cultural Heritage is a special corporation under the Cultural Heritage Administration, established in 2007 to preserve, manage, and operate cultural heritage.

The donation will be used to repair and restore national heritage sites that were completely or partially destroyed by the wildfires, as well as to rehabilitate the surrounding environment. According to the Cultural Heritage Administration, a total of 33 national heritage sites, including the designated cultural heritage site Gounsa Temple in Uiseong, have been affected.

HYBE expressed, "We extend our deepest sympathies to everyone affected by the wildfires. As a content company in the cultural industry, we hope to contribute, even in a small way, to the restoration of national heritage."

The National Trust for Cultural Heritage stated, "We are grateful to HYBE for their support in restoring the damaged national heritage and its value. We will work diligently with the Cultural Heritage Administration to expedite the restoration process and ensure the heritage's value is fully recovered."
