The film 'Virus,' which explores the unique concept of a 'Toxo Virus' that makes people fall in love the moment they are infected, is set to hit theaters on May 7.

'Virus' tells the story of 'Taek-seon,' who becomes infected with a 100% fatal virus that causes people to fall in love for no reason. He embarks on an unexpected journey with three men: 'Su-pil,' a researcher who has never dated; 'Yeon-woo,' an old school friend; and 'Lee Gyun,' the only expert capable of creating a cure.

The first poster, released alongside the announcement of the premiere date, captures attention with its depiction of four characters tagged with a 'Toxo Virus' warning. The poster of the infected 'Ok Taek-seon' (played by Bae Doona), dressed in a pink hazmat suit, is particularly striking. Her flushed face is visible through heart-shaped steam, accompanied by intriguing symptoms like "increased heart rate, boosted confidence, and dopamine explosion."

The film also features 'Nam Su-pil' (played by Son Suk-ku), a researcher who meets 'Taek-seon' on a blind date; 'Kim Yeon-woo' (played by Jang Ki-ha), an elementary school friend and car dealer; and 'Lee Gyun' (played by Kim Yoon-seok), the only expert who can develop a cure for the 'Toxo Virus.' The complex relationships formed due to the virus spark curiosity, while hidden hearts in the poster's frames, mirrors, car headlights, and lab monitors offer a glimpse into the world through the eyes of the love-struck 'Taek-seon.'

The first teaser trailer shows 'Taek-seon,' a translator who has lost his romantic spark, sense of humor, and motivation, suddenly feeling excited and happy for no apparent reason. The trailer introduces 'Yeon-woo,' who immediately notices 'Taek-seon's' unusual behavior, 'Lee Gyun,' who is searching for 'Taek-seon,' and 'Su-pil,' who is determined to pursue 'Taek-seon.' Eventually, 'Lee Gyun' meets 'Taek-seon' and reveals that all these changes are symptoms of the 'Toxo Virus,' which makes people fall in love upon infection.

As the conversation between 'Taek-seon,' who possesses a 'super antibody,' and 'Lee Gyun,' the only expert who can develop a cure, unfolds, it raises anticipation for their unexpected journey together.

'Virus' is set to premiere in theaters on May 7, inviting audiences to experience this unique romance.
