Actress Park Han-byul, who had stepped away from the entertainment industry for a while, is set to reveal the untold stories of the past six years that she could not even share with her family.

On April 1, TV CHOSUN's 'Dad and Me' (literal title) teased the upcoming episode, stating, "The show will feature actress Park Han-byul, returning to television after six years, and the story of her father, who quietly stood by her side during difficult times."

In 2019, Park Han-byul chose to take a hiatus after her husband was involved in the Burning Sun scandal. She spent her time in seclusion on Jeju Island. Reflecting on that period, Park Han-byul said, "Everywhere I turned, whether it was on TV or my phone, people were talking about me. Meeting anyone was the same. I felt utterly helpless, and each day felt like a nightmare."

She also shares the emotional turmoil she faced due to the barrage of comments urging her to divorce, such as "Are you crazy?" and "Leave him immediately." Park Han-byul reveals, "Even my mother-in-law cried, telling me to divorce him for my own sake," sharing a story even her family was unaware of. Despite this, she explains why she felt she had to keep her family together, finally breaking down in tears.

The episode will also delve into the story of Park Han-byul's father, who had to swallow his own pain for six years to avoid hurting his daughter. He confesses to suffering from social anxiety and depression, saying, "I couldn't sleep for days, wasn't hungry, and wandered around like a madman." He recalls how the image of his crying daughter helped him regain his composure, and his untold story will also be revealed on the show.
