The members of the girl group (G)I-DLE have come together to donate for wildfire relief efforts.

On March 28, Miyeon and Soyeon contributed to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association for wildfire recovery and support for victims. Following this, on the 31st, Minnie, Yuqi, and Shuhua made donations through the Korean Red Cross. Each member donated 100 million won, totaling 500 million won, marking a significant gesture. Notably, this donation is the largest amount given by a girl group, adding to its significance.

Despite their hectic overseas schedule, (G)I-DLE made sure to extend their support.

The members headlined the 'mynavi presents The Performance 2025' global music festival hosted by TV Asahi at the K Arena Yokohama in Japan on March 29. They also appeared on the live broadcast of the Japanese TBS morning variety show 'LOVE it!' on the 31st. Even amidst their busy schedule in Japan, they were moved by the devastating wildfires and decided to make a donation.

(G)I-DLE has consistently shown their positive influence by supporting those in need. Last year, they donated for flood recovery efforts, and this time, they have extended their helping hand to residents affected by wildfires in regions like Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam. Their donation will be used for emergency relief, providing daily necessities, and operating temporary shelters to aid recovery and help people return to normal life.

Among the members, Miyeon and Soyeon, along with international members Minnie, Yuqi, and Shuhua, have been recognized for their continuous contributions to those in need in Korea. Their warm-hearted charitable activities have garnered support from fans worldwide.

Previously, the members of (G)I-DLE demonstrated their strong bond by renewing their contracts with Cube Entertainment. With the release of Minnie's first mini-album 'HER' and Yuqi's digital single 'Radio (Dum-Dum)' this year, the group's united effort in donating for wildfire relief has heightened anticipation for their future activities.
