Director Son Jae-gon, known for films like 'My Scary Girl' and 'Villain and Widow,' is making a comeback with 'Wild Thing.'

'Wild Thing' is a wild comedy that follows the journey of 'Triangle,' a co-ed dance group that once dominated the music scene but disbanded due to unforeseen events. Now, 20 years later, they get a chance to make a comeback. This film marks Director Son Jae-gon's return to the big screen five years after 'Secret Zoo' (2020) and has quickly become a highly anticipated project due to its star-studded cast.

Kang Dong-won, a leading actor in South Korea known for his versatility in films like 'Peninsula,' 'The Secret Reunion,' and 'Broker,' is taking on one of his most daring roles yet. He plays 'Hyun-woo,' the former leader and dancing machine of the once-popular trio 'Triangle.' Now, he lingers around broadcasting stations, making a living as a struggling TV personality. Audiences are eager to see what kind of entertainment Kang Dong-won will bring to the screen.

Actor Um Tae-goo, who has captivated audiences with his strong presence in films like 'Night in Paradise' and series like 'The Light in Your Eyes,' takes on the role of 'Sang-goo,' the passionate yet talent-challenged rapper of 'Triangle.' Despite his lackluster rap skills, his enthusiasm is unmatched, promising an irresistible charm.

The role of 'Domi,' the group's main vocalist and center, is played by Park Ji-hyun, who has been recognized for her solid acting in dramas like 'Flex x Cop' and 'Reborn Rich,' as well as the film 'Hidden Face.' Although she lives a quiet life after retirement, she can't suppress her 'girl crush' nature, offering a surprising twist to her character. Additionally, Oh Jung-se, an irreplaceable actor known for his unique characters in works like 'The House of Us,' 'Extreme Job,' 'It's Okay to Not Be Okay,' and 'When the Camellia Blooms,' plays 'Seong-gon,' a tragic ballad singer who was always second to 'Triangle.' He is set to deliver an outstanding comedic performance.

'Wild Thing' began filming on March 30 and is currently in production.
