Actor Ha Jung-woo's third directorial effort, 'Lobby,' has climbed to the top of the box office reservation charts, signaling a promising start.

According to the Korean Film Council's reservation statistics on the 31st, 'Lobby' has secured the number one spot with a reservation rate of 23.6% and 38,000 tickets sold.

'Lobby' tells the story of Chang-wook (played by Ha Jung-woo), a startup CEO who knows nothing but research, as he embarks on his first-ever lobbying golf game to secure a 4 trillion won government project. Ha Jung-woo not only stars in the film but also wrote and directed it. The film features a talented cast including Park Byung-eun, Kim Eui-sung, Lee Dong-hwi, Kang Mal-geum, and Kang Hae-rim.

With 'The Match' dominating the weekend box office, all eyes are on whether 'Lobby,' set to release on the 2nd, can become a formidable contender.
