
The film 'The Match' has claimed the top spot at the box office for two consecutive days.
According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network for movie tickets, 'The Match' attracted 60,942 viewers nationwide on the 27th. The total number of viewers has now reached 156,588.
After drawing in over 90,000 viewers on its opening day, 'The Match' saw a slight drop in attendance on its second day. However, with a reservation rate of 31.9%, it is expected to attract a significant audience this weekend.
'The Match' tells the story of South Korea's legendary Go player Cho Hun-hyun, played by Lee Byung-hun, who, after losing a match to his student, uses his innate competitive spirit to challenge for the top once again. The film stars Lee Byung-hun and Yoo Ah-in.
