
On the 27th, the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association announced that Lee Hyori donated 100 million won to aid the wildfire-stricken areas in Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam.
Through Hope Bridge, Lee Hyori expressed, "I was deeply saddened to hear about the residents who suffered significant losses due to the wildfires. I decided to donate in hopes of providing practical help. I wish for everyone to return to their peaceful daily lives as soon as possible, even amidst such sudden disasters."
Lee Hyori has consistently been involved in various charitable activities, including animal protection and supporting vulnerable social groups. Hope Bridge Secretary General Shin Hoon stated, "We are deeply grateful for Lee Hyori's warm heart. Hope Bridge will ensure swift and careful support to help the affected residents recover their daily lives quickly."
Following Lee Hyori's donation, news of her husband Lee Sang-soon's contribution was also shared. On the same day, Hope Bridge revealed that Lee Sang-soon donated 20 million won for wildfire recovery efforts.
Lee Sang-soon commented, "I wanted to offer some support to those struggling due to the wildfire damage. I hope everyone can safely return to their normal lives soon."
Hope Bridge Secretary General Shin Hoon expressed gratitude, saying, "We deeply appreciate this generous donation. We will use the funds carefully to ensure the affected residents can quickly regain their daily routines."
