Singer Park Seo-jin, who recently won the MBN show 'The Best K-Trot Singer 2,' has donated his entire prize money to aid victims and support the rapid recovery of areas affected by wildfires.
According to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association on the 27th, Park Seo-jin generously donated 100 million won to support wildfire victims in Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam. After winning 'The Best K-Trot Singer 2,' Park Seo-jin expressed his desire to give back the love he received from the public by donating his entire prize money.
Park Seo-jin carefully considered where his prize money could be most impactful and decided to donate after hearing about the recent wildfire disasters. Having visited the affected areas multiple times during his career and creating cherished memories with fans there, he felt a deep sense of sorrow for the damage.
In response, Park Seo-jin sent his heartfelt condolences and promptly donated his entire prize to aid in the recovery efforts. The donation will be used for rebuilding the affected areas and supporting the displaced residents.
Since 2020, Park Seo-jin has been recognized for his continuous charitable efforts. He has contributed to various causes, including donations during the COVID-19 pandemic, scholarships for youth, and support for single mothers, patients with rare diseases, and abandoned animals.
Recently, he donated 10 million won to the international relief NGO World Vision during the Lunar New Year holiday. He also contributed a total of 27.8 million won to his hometown's community welfare center, an elementary school, a shelter for severely disabled individuals in Seoul, and several district offices in Busan.
Park Seo-jin, along with his official fan club, Datchbyeol, has been actively involved in various volunteer and donation activities, spreading warmth and serving as an inspiration to many.
