JIN from the global sensation BTS has once again showcased his exceptional athletic skills, this time impressing national fencing champion Oh Sang-wook.

On the evening of the 25th, BTS' YouTube channel aired the 27th episode of their variety show 'Run BTS,' featuring JIN's fencing challenge alongside 2024 Paris Olympic gold medalists Gu Bon-gil and Oh Sang-wook.

This episode was specially crafted to fulfill the wishes of ARMY (BTS' fandom) who were eager to see 'JIN the Fencer.' Notably, Oh Sang-wook, who had previously connected with JIN on the tvN show 'Handsome Guys,' appeared as a guest coach, drawing attention. The two shared a friendly rapport, exchanging New Year's anecdotes right from the start.

JIN made a striking entrance in his fencing gear and quickly picked up the techniques, earning the title of 'fencing prodigy.' Previously, JIN had taken on various sports challenges on 'Run BTS,' including UFC, gymnastics, and climbing. Despite the high difficulty levels, he consistently surprised everyone with his physical prowess and athletic intuition, proving that he is a 'sports talent' stolen by the K-pop world.

In this fencing episode, JIN once again demonstrated his remarkable abilities. On his first day of fencing, under the guidance of Gu Bon-gil and Oh Sang-wook, he successfully completed the challenging task of piercing an apple with a fencing sword, a feat even difficult for professionals. In a subsequent balloon-popping contest, JIN triumphed over Oh Sang-wook, who praised JIN's quick learning ability, calling him "the top among one-day trainees."

Towards the end of the video, JIN faced off against an elementary school fencer, with the stakes being an early finish to the day. Despite the unexpectedly intense match, JIN managed the game with enthusiasm, earning applause from coach Oh Sang-wook, who acknowledged JIN's athletic instincts.

Meanwhile, the next episode of 'Run BTS' will feature a showdown with actor Park Hyung-sik. 'Run BTS' airs every Tuesday at 9 PM on BTS' YouTube channel and is available an hour later on the global fan platform WeVerse.
