The Netflix film 'Revelations' has climbed to the No. 2 spot in the global TOP 10 movies category.
According to Flix Patrol, a site that tracks OTT content rankings, 'Revelations' scored 532 points on March 25, securing the second position in the Netflix movie category. The top spot was claimed by the American film 'The Electric State,' which scored 677 points.
'Revelations' tells the story of a pastor who believes that punishing the perpetrator of a missing person case is a divine revelation, and a detective haunted by visions of his deceased brother as they each pursue their beliefs. Released on March 21, 'Revelations' initially entered the rankings at No. 3 and quickly rose to No. 2.
While it holds the second spot globally, 'Revelations' has reached No. 1 in 13 countries, including South Korea, Vietnam, Taiwan, Singapore, the Philippines, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Morocco.
However, the film has received mixed reviews. Some praise it for its sharp portrayal of twisted beliefs and human desires through the lens of religion, while others criticize it for its lack of coherent plot and abrupt character changes.
