G-DRAGON has unveiled the first phase of his largest solo world tour to date.
According to the initial schedule released on G-DRAGON's official social media on the 19th, the tour will kick off in Tokyo, Japan on May 10th and 11th. It will then move on to Bulacan in the Philippines, Osaka in Japan, Macau in China, Taiwan, Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, Jakarta in Indonesia, and Hong Kong, covering 7 countries and 8 cities across Asia.
This announcement has generated significant excitement among global fans, especially since it marks G-DRAGON's return to Japan's Tokyo Dome and Osaka's Kyocera Dome for the first time in eight years since his '2017 WORLD TOUR ACT III: M.O.T.T.E'. The tour will also include performances at stadium-level venues like the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.
The world tour is organized by the global AI entertainment tech company Galaxy Corporation and the American company AEG Presents. AEG Presents, known for handling global tours for artists like The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Taylor Swift, Celine Dion, and Justin Bieber, underscores G-DRAGON's international influence.
AEG Presents stated, "G-DRAGON is a global cultural icon who has redefined the Asian music scene with his innovative music, bold fashion, and charismatic stage presence. His new album 'Ubermensch' has received overwhelming acclaim from both fans and critics, marking a new chapter in his career."
The world tour will officially commence on March 29th and 30th at the Goyang Sports Complex in Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang City.
