BTS JIN Meets 'Solitary Gourmet' Star Matsushige Yutaka; They Go On a Korean Sauna Adventure

A highly anticipated meeting took place between BTS JIN and Matsushige Yutaka, the star of the hit Japanese drama 'Solitary Gourmet.'

On March 18th, at 9 PM, JIN appeared in the 26th episode of BTS' YouTube variety show 'Run Jin,' where he was joined by Matsushige Yutaka, the actor and director of the popular Japanese drama, and TV personality Kangnam, as they embarked on a full Korean sauna experience.

JIN, showcasing his expertise, introduced Matsushige Yutaka, who was visiting a Korean sauna for the first time, to the art of making a "sheep head" towel and recommended popular snack bar items. With his warmth, JIN brought out Matsushige Yutaka's genuine laughter, sharing stories of Japanese hot springs and creating a relaxed atmosphere. He also demonstrated how to crack a baked egg on one's head, perfectly fulfilling his role as a thoughtful host.

Matsushige Yutaka was captivated by JIN's introductions, expressing delight at the taste of sikhye and satisfaction with the refreshing cold noodles enjoyed after the sauna, providing plenty of laughs.

After their memorable time together, they promised to meet again. Matsushige Yutaka shared his thoughts, saying, "It was such an enjoyable experience that I almost forgot why I came to Korea." JIN responded, "It was an honor to spend time with a star I've seen so often on TV. I hope we can film together again if the opportunity arises."

The next episode of 'Run Jin,' episode 27, will feature a fencing challenge with Oh Sang-wook, the 2024 Paris Olympic gold medalist in fencing. The episode will be available on BTS' YouTube channel on the 25th at 9 PM and can be viewed an hour later on the global fan platform Weverse.
