On March 17, Lee Si-young's agency, Ace Factory, announced, "The divorce proceedings are underway by mutual agreement," adding, "As this is a personal matter for the actress, we ask for your understanding that we cannot provide further details."
Earlier this year, Lee Si-young filed documents with the Seoul Family Court, and it is reported that she and her husband have reached an agreement on the divorce, with only the details left to finalize.
Lee Si-young married a restaurant entrepreneur, who is nine years older than her, in September 2017, and welcomed a son the following year. Despite showcasing a happy family life on various television shows, she is now facing a divorce after eight years of marriage.
Lee Si-young made her debut in 2008 and has appeared in dramas such as 'Boys Over Flowers,' 'Becoming a Billionaire,' 'Liver or Die,' 'Sweet Home,' and films like 'Enemies In-Law,' 'Killer Toon,' and 'The Divine Move.'
