'Jungle Bob 2' continues to push the boundaries of culinary exploration, tantalizing viewers' taste buds with its adventurous dishes.

On the March 13 episode of SBS' 'Jungle Bob 2', Kim Ok-bin and Choi Hyun-seok joined Amazonian kids in a piranha fishing challenge.

While the cast struggled to catch piranhas, the local children effortlessly reeled them in, showcasing skills that rivaled seasoned fishermen. Kim Ok-bin marveled, "The kids are really good at this," while DIN DIN humorously pointed out, "So, the piranhas you guys brought back were actually caught by the kids, not you guys!" drawing laughter from everyone.

Chef Choi Hyun-seok then amazed everyone by presenting a 'fine dining' experience in the jungle. He skillfully prepared a thick fillet of arapaima gigas, similar to pork jowl, into a steak. He also whipped up a chicken jus using chicken feet and demonstrated his adept wok skills with a celery fried rice using leftover ingredients. Watching his own cooking in the studio, Choi Hyun-seok proudly remarked, "Look at me—a Western cuisine chef who’s also great with a wok," to which Ryu Soo-young jokingly responded, "I was actually just about to do that," eliciting more laughter.

Meanwhile, the cast prepared a feast using caiman alligator for a local Amazonian child's birthday celebration. Ryu Soo-young fearlessly caught an alligator with his bare hands in the Amazon River, astonishing everyone when Jeon Hyun-moo exclaimed, "That's crazy!" Ryu Soo-young calmly replied, "As long as you hold the neck right, it can't bite," leaving everyone in awe.

Choi Hyun-seok took on the challenging task of butchering the alligator, admitting, "Deboning the alligator was the hardest part," as he worked up a sweat dealing with its tough skin. Despite the difficulty, his 31 years of culinary experience shone through as he expertly separated the meat, noting, "It smells like chicken, with no fishy odor," describing the unique characteristics of alligator meat. For the birthday feast, Ryu Soo-young made fried alligator with sweet and sour sauce while Kim Ok-bin used alligator bones in seaweed soup to enhance its flavor.

In another adventurous moment, Kim Ok-bin took an axe to retrieve the 'suri' larvae hidden inside a decaying tree. When Choi Daniel jokingly suggested, "Think of it as your ex-boyfriend," Kim Ok-bin humorously exclaimed, "You son of a...!" and smashed the large tree, leaving everyone in stitches. Even though she hesitated to try the larvae, she eventually tasted the grilled larvae, likening it to "grilled beef intestines" and giving it a positive review.

The culinary adventure series 'Jungle Bob 2' airs every Thursday at 9 PM.
