FC Fire Butterfly pulled off a miraculous victory.

On the March 12 broadcast of SBS' 'Kick a Goal,' the G-League group stage match between FC Fire Butterfly and FC Top Girl took place.

The first goal of the match was scored by FC Top Girl's Da-young, who intercepted a pass from Ahn Hye-kyung and converted it into a goal just three minutes into the first half.

FC The Gavengers, who needed a FC Top Girl victory to keep their hopes of advancing to the top six alive, fervently cheered for FC Top Girl from the stands. When Da-young scored, they chanted her name in joy.

FC Top Girl's Chae-yeon, who had often blamed herself for past losses, showed a different side by making consecutive super saves against the powerful shots from FC Fire Butterfly' Kang Ha-ji.

She used her entire body, including her face, to block the goals, giving spectators hope for a FC Top Girl victory.

In the latter part of the first half, a physical altercation between Lee Yoo-jung and Kang Bo-ram led to Lee Yoo-jung falling, prompting Coach Kim Tae-young to request a VAR review. It was determined that Kang Bo-ram had committed a foul that affected the goal situation.

After reviewing the VAR, the referee stated, "Bo-ram pushed from behind without contacting the ball," and issued a three-minute suspension for Kang Bo-ram. This gave FC Top Girl a free-kick opportunity, extending their lead to 2-0.

FC Top Girl launched an aggressive attack to widen the score gap before Kang Bo-ram could return, but the first half ended without further goals, leaving them disappointed.

Kang Bo-ram's suspension continued into the second half, and while FC Top Girl sought additional goals, they were unable to score.

FC Top Girl's Kim Bo-kyung suffered a nosebleed after being hit by Kang Bo-ram's elbow. However, leaving the field for treatment would have weakened the team, so she simply stuffed tissue in her nose and returned to the game, earning applause.

Desperate for more goals and a win, FC Top Girl continued their aggressive play in the second half, but repeatedly hit the goalpost, adding to their frustration.

In the latter part of the match, a pushing foul by Kim Bo-kyung gave FC Fire Butterfly a free-kick opportunity, resulting in a miraculous comeback goal. The miracle did not end there.

Just before the match ended, Lee Seung-yeon's kick was mishandled by Chae-yeon, allowing Kang Bo-ram to score. This last-minute goal brought the match to a tie, dashing FC Top Girl's hopes of advancing to the top six.

The match ended in a 2-2 draw, leading to a penalty shootout to determine the winner.

Both teams showed great focus, extending the shootout into extra rounds. On the 12th kick, Ahn Hye-kyung blocked Chae-yeon's shot, securing a dramatic victory for FC Fire Butterfly.

Ahn Hye-kyung, who had never won in a penalty shootout before, gained confidence from this match. She said, "I've been with 'Kick a Goal' for four years, and this is my first shootout win. I can't describe this feeling. It's the greatest joy I've ever felt. I'm so happy to experience this in 'Kick a Goal'," shedding tears of joy.

Meanwhile, LEe Yoo-jung from FC Top Girl, who now faces elimination, expressed her frustration, saying, "Is winning really this hard? It's so upsetting that everyone feels guilty. The coach believes he has his own guilt, and the players have theirs. And that upsets me. It's heartbreaking to see everyone sad after such a good match," bringing tears to her eyes and evoking sympathy.
