On March 13, Seo Ye-ji posted on her official fan community, expressing her frustration: "This whole thing is really overwhelming, exhausting, frustrating for me, but I held back," she wrote. "I even replied to a comment and then deleted it," she added, sharing a screenshot of a post left by a non-Korean fan on her social media.
The post questioned, "Did you cheat with Kim Soo-hyun? Don't disappoint us a second time."
In response, Seo Ye-ji pleaded, "Please stop. I have no connection with him or his brother. I don't even know why I have to clarify this, but I do feel particularly frustrated today."
The "him and his brother" Seo Ye-ji referred to are speculated to be Kim Soo-hyun and his cousin, Lee Ro-be.
Recently, claims surfaced from the family of the late actress Kim Sae-ron, suggesting she and Kim Soo-hyun were once romantically involved for six years. This led some people to bring up Seo Ye-ji's name. It was because previously, a YouTuber claimed that Seo Ye-ji dated Kim Soo-hyun and, after their breakup, was involved with Lee Ro-be.
Seo Ye-ji starred alongside Kim Soo-hyun in the 2020 tvN drama "It's Okay to Not Be Okay." She was also once signed with Gold Medalist, the agency founded by Kim Soo-hyun and Lee Ro-be. In 2023, Seo Ye-ji's contract with Gold Medalist expired, and she moved to Sublime Artist Agency.
