Actor Song Duk-ho, known for his role in the film 'Burning,' has completed his military service; the actor enlisted after being involved in a military service evasion scandal.

On March 12, Song Duk-ho took to his social media to express, "After completing my military service, I pondered how best to address everyone and decided that offering another apology was the right thing to do. I write this with a cautious heart."

Song Duk-ho stated, "I sincerely apologize once again to everyone who was hurt and disappointed by my actions. During my time in the military, I had many moments of regret. I will strive to live more responsibly and uprightly in the future."

Previously, in the summer of 2022, Song Duk-ho sought advice from a broker, Mr. A, who ran a blog to delay his military enlistment. He was diagnosed with epilepsy and received a grade 4 classification for social service duty, which was later revealed to be a deliberate evasion of military service. He was charged with violating the Military Service Act and sentenced to one year in prison, with a two-year probation and 80 hours of community service. Song Duk-ho then enlisted as an active-duty soldier in January 2023.

Song Duk-ho added, "I will take the lessons from my past mistakes to heart and approach everything with humility. I sincerely apologize once more and will do my best to become a better person. Thank you."

Song Duk-ho has appeared in projects such as 'Burning,' 'Moving,' 'D.P,' 'Taxi Driver,' 'Juvenile Justice,' 'Secret Zoo' and more.
