Singer Wheesung has been found unresponsive at his home and has sadly been pronounced dead at the age of 43.
On the 10th, Wheesung's agency, Tajo Entertainment, released a statement saying, "We are deeply sorry to share this heartbreaking news. Today, Wheesung has left us. He was found unresponsive at his home in Seoul and was pronounced dead." The agency expressed their sorrow over the tragic news.
The agency continued, "The sudden news has left his family, fellow artists at Tajo Entertainment, and all employees in deep mourning. It pains us to share this unfortunate news with the fans who have given him unwavering support and love. We will provide details regarding the funeral separately."
Finally, they requested, "We kindly ask that you refrain from spreading unverified rumors and speculative reports out of respect for the grieving family."
Wheesung was scheduled to perform at a joint concert titled 'The Story' with singer KCM at the Daegu EXCO Auditorium on the 15th. Just days before, on the 5th, Wheesung had posted a message on his social media account saying, "Diet is over. See you on March 15."
