[SBS Entertainment News | Kim Ji-hye] Matsushige Yutaka, who stars in, directs, writes, and produces the film 'The Lonely Gourmet: The Movie,' is set to visit Korea.

'The Lonely Gourmet: The Movie' follows the adventures of Goro, a professional solo diner, as he travels from Paris, France, to a remote island in Japan, then to Namhae and Geoje in Korea, and back to Tokyo, Japan―all in search of the ultimate broth.

Matsushige Yutaka, the film's lead, will be in Korea from March 13 to March 16, where he will have special meetings with local media and fans.

Having portrayed Inogashira Goro throughout 11 seasons of the 'Lonely Gourmet' series, Matsushige Yutaka will be visiting Korea as both the director and star of 'The Lonely Gourmet: The Movie.'

In addition to the iconic 'Lonely Gourmet' series, Matsushige Yutaka is a well-known Japanese actor who has appeared in various works familiar to Korean audiences, including the drama 'Unnatural,' the film 'The Turtle's Speed is Surprisingly Fast,' '10 Years Left to Live,' and 'Youth 18X2: The Path to You.'

Last October, 'The Lonely Gourmet: The Movie' was officially invited to the 29th Busan International Film Festival in the 'Open Cinema' section, where Matsushige Yutaka personally attended, participating in various events such as the opening ceremony red carpet, press conferences, open talks, and guest visits to engage with local audiences.

Recently, he also made appearances on the YouTube channel 'Kkondaehee' and the MBC variety show 'How Do You Play?' delighting viewers. Now, ahead of the film's release in March, he is returning to Korea to meet with fans once again.

During his visit, he will participate in an official press conference as well as various events, including stage greetings, to connect with prospective audiences.

'The Lonely Gourmet: The Movie' is set to hit theaters on March 19.
