[SBS Entertainment News | Kang Sun-ae] SBS's 'My Little Old Boy' has successfully retained its position as the top-rated Sunday variety show, despite the competition from new programs airing at the same time.

According to Nielsen Korea, the episode of 'My Little Old Boy' that aired on the 16th recorded a peak rating of 13.8% and an average rating of 11.8% (based on households in the Seoul metropolitan area), solidifying its status as the number one Sunday variety show. The show maintained its lead even against MBC's 'Good Day' (4.9%), which featured appearances from G-Dragon and other stars.

On this episode, special MC actress Kyung Soo-jin made a surprising confession, stating, "I've never been dumped in a relationship." She elaborated on her dating style, saying, "You need to date for at least two years to truly understand a person," adding, "If I give someone multiple chances and they still don't put in the effort, I think, 'They aren't trying for me,' and I let go." When asked how she would react if her partner broke up with her while she still had feelings, Kyung Soo-jin confidently replied, "I would kneel and ask them to stay. My love isn't over yet," capturing the audience's attention.

Kyung Soo-jin also shared that despite playing first love roles alongside actors like Jo In-sung, Kim Nam-gil, and Choi Woo-shik, she is actually quite down-to-earth and casual in real life. Her friends have remarked that when they see her sweet smile on screen, they think, "That's not Kyung Soo-jin," highlighting the contrast between her on-screen persona and her true self. When rumors of a 'thing' with fellow cast member Heo Kyung-hwan arose, she playfully commented, "It's not a thing, but he's definitely the most handsome and gentlemanly," heating up the atmosphere.

As Kim Jun-ho prepares for marriage, and with Kim Seung-soo being 'addicted to drinking and work' and Kim Jong-kook being 'addicted to exercise,' the three voluntarily locked themselves in a 1.5-pyeong solitary confinement room to escape their addictions. Kim Seung-soo confessed, "I only get about four hours of sleep a night and have dinner meetings five days a week," revealing his hectic schedule and drinking habits. In contrast, Kim Jun-ho admitted that despite declaring he would quit smoking during his proposal, he is still using an e-cigarette, which brought laughter. Having previously recorded a dangerously low testosterone level of 2.75, Kim Jun-ho vowed, "I need to quit smoking completely for the sake of having kids." In response, Kim Jong-kook boasted, "I recently had a testosterone test, and my levels have actually increased to 9.35," to which Kim Jun-ho joked, "You're going to burst if you keep that up. You need to stop exercising," eliciting laughter.

The three then returned all their belongings, including phones and watches, and spent a day in the empty 1.5-pyeong room. Kim Jun-ho cleverly hid an e-cigarette in the hem of his pants, but was caught by Kim Jong-kook and Kim Seung-soo, who teased him, "Isn't that smuggling?" Kim Ji-min's mother, watching from the studio, expressed her skepticism about Kim Jun-ho's commitment to quitting smoking, saying, "I wonder how long that will last." Even in the cramped room, Kim Jong-kook was seen doing squats with a dumbbell box, while Kim Jun-ho, trusting the locked door, provocatively called Kim Jong-kook "chunky" and "the mosquito with testosterone 9," making everyone laugh.

Meanwhile, Kim Seung-soo and Lee Sang-min embarked on a thrilling ice climbing adventure in the snow-covered Gangwon Province, tackling the country's largest ice wall. Upon arriving at the towering ice cliff over 100 meters high, the two were in awe. Lee Sang-min exclaimed, "It's like the Alps of Korea," and proposed an ice climbing challenge that involved jumping into the icy waters below. Although Kim Seung-soo was initially worried about how to climb, he showcased his impressive skills as a physical education major, leading the way, while a trailing Lee Sang-min humorously shouted, "Don't climb too fast!" The ice climbing bet ended with Kim Seung-soo's victory, and in a hilarious turn of events, he ended up jumping into the icy water alongside a shivering Lee Sang-min, causing everyone to burst into laughter.

'My Little Old Boy' airs every Sunday night at 8:55 PM.
