Jeon Jin and Ryu I-seo were brought to tears by the heartbreaking past of 'Manse'.

In the episode aired on the 9th, SBS's 'TV Animal Farm' showcased the innocent and playful nature of 'Manse', which moved both the couple and the production team to tears. The moment the couple learned about Manse's tragic story coincided with a peak viewership rating of 6.3% (Nielsen Korea, based on households in the metropolitan area).

During the broadcast, a mysterious syringe and a USB containing Manse's past were delivered to Jeon Jin and Ryu I-seo's home. Manse, previously known as 'No. 474' at the Hongseong Shelter, was dramatically rescued just before being euthanized in a poor kennel environment. The name 'Manse' was given because, at the time of rescue, the dog stood up and raised its paws, pleading to be saved. Upon hearing the story, not only did Jeon Jin and Ryu I-seo shed tears, but the production team present also couldn't hold back their emotions. Jeon Jin remarked, "Despite its painful past, Manse is so cheerful that it breaks my heart even more. I want to call its meaningful name more often."

Meanwhile, Kim Mi-ryeo's family was given a mission to 'Hit the Preferences of the Guests'. Busy with chewing, biting, tasting, and enjoying everything in sight, Kim Mi-ryeo prepared a blockbuster sensory play with paint for the guests, 'Gana' and 'Maba'. The result was a huge success, and the guests' spirits soared.

In the Kim Jae-woo family's case, their guest, 'Gunbam', who initially hid under the table, quickly adapted and earned the new name 'Miso' due to its overwhelming cuteness. Miso, who has a big appetite, successfully learned the important etiquette command 'Sit'. Although it was scared of the sudden leash, after two days of waiting, Miso successfully went for a walk with the couple.

Additionally, 'TV Animal Farm' is part of the 2025 New Year project, a K-Dog revival initiative titled 'Do You Know the K-Dog?', showcasing the 'guest' dogs and the 'hosts' who are celebrities in a unique cohabitation experience.
