Goo Jun-yeob (55) has expressed his feelings just days before the third anniversary of his marriage, following the passing of his wife, Seo Hee-won.

On February 6, Goo Jun-yeob took to his social media account to share his thoughts on Seo Hee-won's death and his future plans, writing in both Korean and Chinese. It appears he felt compelled to speak out against the false rumors circulating about Seo Hee-won's children and assets, particularly those stemming from her ex-husband's family.

Goo Jun-yeob wrote, "On February 2, 2025, my angel returned to heaven. I would like to express my deep gratitude to everyone who is mourning for Hee-won." He continued, "I am currently going through a pain so intense that it feels like my insides are being torn apart. I have no strength to speak, nor do I want to." He conveyed his profound sorrow.

He added, "However, before I could even begin to process this immense loss and grief, devilish people started to tarnish my family and my love." He earnestly pleaded, "Could you please allow our Hee-won to rest in peace? I sincerely ask for your understanding."

Goo Jun-yeob specifically addressed the false news regarding the late Seo Hee-won's estate and plans for their two children, stating, "All of her assets were accumulated through her hard work to protect her beloved family, so I intend to give all authority regarding them to my mother-in-law." He also mentioned, "I will take legal measures to ensure that the rights of the children are protected from malicious individuals until they reach adulthood."

In conclusion, Goo Jun-yeob expressed, "The time I spent with Hee-won is a priceless and invaluable gift that I would not trade for anything in the world." He stated, "I believe that protecting the family Hee-won loved the most is the last thing I can do for her."

Seo Hee-won passed away on February 2, after falling ill with severe flu symptoms while traveling with her family in Tokyo, Japan. Her condition rapidly deteriorated, and she passed away at 7 AM. Goo Jun-yeob and their family were by her side during her final moments, and it is reported that Wang So-bi and their two children were also present.

Below is Goo Jun-yeob's message:

"On February 2, 2025, my angel returned to heaven."

"First, I would like to express my deep gratitude to everyone who is mourning for Hee-won."

"I am currently going through a pain so intense that it feels like my insides are being torn apart. I have no strength to speak, nor do I want to."

"However, before I could even begin to process this immense loss and grief, devilish people started to tarnish my family and my love. Some pretend to be sad while wandering around, and others are creating false news about insurance and expenses to hurt my family."

"It truly terrifies me to think that such evil people exist in this world."

"Could you please allow our Hee-won to rest in peace? I sincerely ask for your understanding."

"And now, I would like to address the precious legacy that Hee-won left behind."

"All of her assets were accumulated through her hard work to protect her beloved family, so I intend to give all authority regarding them to my mother-in-law."

"I will take legal measures to ensure that the rights of the children are protected from malicious individuals until they reach adulthood."

"The time I spent with Hee-won is a priceless and invaluable gift that I would not trade for anything in the world."

"I believe that protecting the family Hee-won loved the most is the last thing I can do for her."

"Finally, I bow my head in gratitude to everyone who loved and mourned for our Hee-won."
