
Jooheon (30) of MONSTA X has warmed hearts by gifting fans a free concert right after completing his exemplary military service.
Having served as a drill instructor at the Army Training Center, Jooheon was discharged on the 23rd of last month and held a free fan event titled '2025 JOOHONEY Fan Event 'JOOHONEYWALKER'' at the Blue Square Mastercard Hall in Seoul on the 5th, with shows at 4 PM and 8 PM.
During the event, Jooheon presented fans with a certificate of discharge and a salute, expressing his gratitude to those who waited for him for a year and a half with a special gift.
He showcased various awards and photos that proved his commendable military service, including his drill instructor appointment letter, squad leader appointment letter, and the prestigious 'Top 300' award. He also performed Shin Sung-woo's 'The Prologue,' sharing, "There was a song I really wanted to sing in front of 'Monbebe' after my discharge."
Through his agency Starship Entertainment, Jooheon expressed his excitement, saying, "I was so thrilled to see 'Monbebe' up close after such a long time. I prepared a lot to show a great performance for those who waited so patiently. I was really happy to perform the stage I had been waiting for in front of 'Monbebe' and to talk face-to-face. I hope it was a happy time for 'Monbebe' as well."
As the main rapper and producer of MONSTA X, Jooheon participated in the production of hits like 'Love Killa,' 'Shoot Out,' and 'GAMBLER' before his enlistment. He also showcased his immense musical talent with his solo debut album 'LIGHTS' and has been active in various shows with his unique charm and sense of humor.
