[SBS Star] Romantic Paris Photos of Ok Taec Yeon & His Girlfriend Fuel Marriage Rumors; Agency Responds

After photos surfaced online suggesting Ok Taec Yeon of K-pop boy group 2PM had proposed to his non-celebrity girlfriend, his agency quickly responded to the marriage rumors.

On February 5, images believed to be from Ok Taec Yeon's proposal spread rapidly across online communities.

The photos, originally posted by a French photographer on Instagram, showed him presenting a ring to a woman with the Eiffel Tower in the background.
In the pictures, Ok Taec Yeon is seen kneeling as he offers a Tiffany ring. The woman, appearing surprised, smiles brightly as she accepts it.

The images were first uploaded to the photographer's account in April last year and remained unnoticed.

But recently, a Chinese fan discovered them, leading to their sudden spread; they have now been deleted from the photographer's account. 
As speculation grew over whether Ok Taec Yeon was getting married, his agency, 51k, released a statement addressing the rumors.

51k stated, "The rumors about Ok Taec Yeon's marriage are not true. The photos were taken last year as part of a surprise event for his girlfriend's birthday, not as a proposal." 

They added, "While he does hope to get married someday when the time is right, there are no concrete plans at the moment, and nothing has been discussed in detail." 
Previously, Ok Taec Yeon revealed in 2020 that he was dating a non-celebrity.

Last December, he was spotted on a date with her in Gangnam, Seoul.
