[SBS Star] "It Was Love at First Sight" Yoon Bak Recalls His Romantic First 24 Hours With His Wife

Actor Yoon Bak talked about when he first met his wife, model Kim Soo Been.

Actress Uhm Ji Won, DONGWAN of K-pop boy group SHINHWA, and Yoon Bak guested on SBS' television show 'Dolsing Fourmen' on February 4.

Yoon Bak related his first meeting with Kim Soo Been, who he married in September 2023.

"I can't seem to forget the first time I met her. There was a gathering with our mutual friends who wanted to set us up. While I knew their little plan, my wife didn't; she came to the gathering as her friends kept asking her to come."

"The moment she walked in, it was love at first sight. I got so shy around her that I couldn't look at her eyes.", the actor remembered.
Yoon Bak continued to share how his romance with Kim Soo Been began.

"She was briefly stopping by before heading to another place. I should note here that everyone was drinking at the gathering. Before leaving, she told me she would come back, and I'd better not get wasted till she returned. So I waited for her for three to four hours without drinking."

Kim Soo Been returned eventually, and Yoon Bak greeted her, perfectly sober.

"We talked for a while and decided to see each other the next day because it was already too late.", he remembered.
When Yoon Bak shared that he invited Kim Soo Been to his place the following day, the studio started buzzing.

"There was this movie I wanted to watch with her. But it turns out that the movie was no longer running in theaters. The only way to watch it was via TV at home.", the actor explained.

"When she said the movie is not showing in theaters, I replied, 'Let's head to my place. We can watch it together there.'."

After the movie ended, Yoon Bak asked Kim Soo Been to be his girlfriend; the whole thing happened within 24 hours of their first meeting, Uhm Ji Won pointed out after listening to his story.

"I mean, I already had feelings for her. Why wait longer?", the actor candidly remarked.
When asked if he and his wife had also had their first kiss during those two days together, an embarrassed look appeared on Yoon Bak's face.

After a moment of hesitation, he admitted, "I think that's what happened.", which made everyone chuckle.
