[SBS Star] JISOO Explains Why She & Park Jung Min Went to an Amusement Park Alone Together

JISOO of K-pop girl group BLACKPINK said she went to an amusement park with her 'Newtopia' co-star Park Jung Min, just the two of them.

JISOO and Park Jung Min guested on a new episode of comedian Lee Su-ji's YouTube show uploaded on the channel 'Studio Chika Chika' on January 23.

In Coupang Play's upcoming series 'Newtopia', JISOO and Park Jung Min play a recently broken-up couple trying to reunite after a zombie outbreak.

"JISOO is an amazing person in many ways.", Park Jung Min stated.

"The director of 'Newtopia' has 'the more, the better' approach to table reads. I wasn't so happy because I wouldn't have time for fun."

"But JISOO always seemed to enjoy it, beaming all through it. We did table reads four to five times a week, by the way. I was truly impressed.", Park Jung Min shared.
Park Jung Min resumed, "There are many scenes where JISOO fights with the zombies alone. It must have been physically demanding."

"But she was always smiling whenever I visited the filming site. Despite being tired herself, JISOO always brought positive energy as a lead actor on set where everyone was tired."

"Watching her, I couldn't help but think that she's an amazing actor.", Park Jung Min said, showering JISOO with praises.
JISOO and Park Jung Min shared an episode about how they prepared prop pictures for 'Newtopia'.

"At the beginning of the series' filming, JISOO and I went around sites like Gyeongbokgung with the director to shoot our photos as a couple and use them as props.", Park Jung Min remarked.

JISOO added, "One day, the director said Jung Min and I should go on without him since he's busy. So, we two went to an amusement park together!"
Park Jung Min resumed, "When we went there, I looked for places where people wouldn't be around since they could recognize JISOO."

"So we took photos at uncrowded spots; the results were bad. By looking at the photos, nobody would know we were at an amusement park.", he added.

"When I saw the pictures we took, I was like, 'What kind of lovers take pictures together with their faces all covered up?'.", JISOO recounted and chuckled.

"It was fun when we look back on it.", JISOO and Park Jung Min shared.
