[SBS Star] Na In Woo & Lee Se Young Talk About Their First Meeting Where They Misunderstood Each Other

Actor Na In Woo and actress Lee Se Young opened up about how they misunderstood each other at first.

On January 14, the YouTube channel 'VIVO TV' posted a new episode of comedian Song Eun-yi's talk show where she chats with guest stars during car rides.

Na In Woo and Lee Se Young of MBC's television series 'Motel California' guested on this episode.

During their car ride, Song Eun-yi asked Na In Woo and Lee Se Young about their MBTI (personality type); Na In Woo replied he was INFJ, while Lee Se Young said she was ISTJ.

The two actors both said no when asked if their feelings had ever been hurt by one another while working together.

"But at first, we had the same misunderstanding about each other.", Na In Woo added.
Na In Woo resumed, "The day I first met Se Young noona, I thought she seemed cold; she also felt the same way about me. That impression lasted only a day, though."

Lee Se Young explained, "I tend to be shy when I first meet someone. Plus, since it was a business meeting, I tried to be as polite as possible."

"It was me trying my best in the situation, but I understand how it came across as frigid. In Woo said it appeared I was only giving short answers that day.", she added.
"I was the same.", Na In Woo remarked, "As I became a thirty-something guy, I became more serious and careful than I already was."

"But my cheerful side has been emphasized in recent years as I've been appearing on entertainment shows. I enjoyed being funny and all."

"But then I realized I was behaving that way on my own even when outside the shows. As an actor, I decided to take a more serious attitude when I'm on acting jobs."

Na In Woo added, "So, at the meeting where Se Young noona and I first met, I focused on listening to others' opinions. I suppose she thought I was being cold since it felt different from my TV image."
Meanwhile, 'Motel California' tells the story of 'Ji Kang-hee' (Lee Se Young), who returns to her hometown after 12 years and encounters her first love, 'Cheon Yeon-soo' (Na In Woo).
