[SBS Star] "Had Tough Experiences as a Woman" Song Hye Kyo Mentions Her Divorce with Song Joong Ki?

Actress Song Hye Kyo indirectly mentioned her personal life.

On January 12, Song Hye Kyo guested on singer Jung Jae-hyung's YouTube show.

Jung Jae-hyung said at the show's opening, "At the beginning of each year, we invite special guests here on the show."

"Last year, it was actress Ko Hyun Jung. This year, we invited Song Hye Kyo; to my knowledge, she has never guested on any YouTube show before."

As Song Hye Kyo arrived at the studio, Jung Jae-hyung welcomed her warmly. 

The two talked about how they had not had any opportunities to see each other since they had worked together ten years ago.
Jung Jae-hyung said he searched the Internet for personal information about Song Hye Kyo to prepare for her guest appearance, but he could not find much.

"You are a bit of a mystery figure, even among celebrities. So, I've conducted a little investigation myself; I contacted our mutual friends and asked them what kind of person you are.", the host remarked.

"Your friends' most overlapping answer was that you are strong-minded. The second-most overlapping answer was that you are dependable.", he revealed.
"As I see you now, you seem more stable and comfortable than you did before.", the host said.

"I get that a lot these days. Many have told me I look much more comfortable.", Song Hye Kyo remarked.

She went on, "In my life, I have had many wonderful experiences. I've also had tough ones as a woman and an actress. And there were happy moments as well."

"Having gone through such a variety of experiences, I think I've learned a valuable life lesson."

After listening to her story, Jung Jae-hyung quipped, "Every guest we had so far seemed to have taken life lessons before appearing here. I guess it's the requirement to be on this show. Like, you cannot guest here if you're yet to learn."

The host's playful comment made everyone on set burst out laughing.
Meanwhile, Song Hye Kyo and actor Song Joong Ki became lovers after working together on KBS' television series 'Descendants of the Sun' in 2016.

The two married in 2017; after about two years, however, they ended their marriage in divorce.
