On January 8, the American talk show "The Jennifer Hudson Show" shared a video on social media, showing Lee Jung Jae walking through the Spirit Tunnel.
The Spirit Tunnel is a tradition where the cast, surrounded by staff members behind the scenes, pass through the hallway, getting an enthusiastic round of applause.
Lee Jung Jae, who appeared on the show to promote "Squid Game 2," obviously had to walk through this space as well.
In the video, staff lined up on both sides of the hallway greeted Lee Jung Jae in Korean, repeatedly shouting, "Annyeonghaseyo (hello), Lee Jung Jae!" and clapping.

Afterward, he turned around and blew a kiss, bowed to express his gratitude, before walking into the studio.
Lee Jung Jae also shared on his Instagram that day, "Really grateful," posting a picture taken with the show's host Jennifer Hudson.
Under this video, many left comments saying, "This is so cute!" "Watching the video, I found myself smiling without realizing it," "I keep rewatching the video to see Lee Jung Jae awkwardly dancing like a robot. It's just too cute!" and more.

During the show, Lee Jung Jae was asked, "Did you expect to gain so many fans around the world like this?" He responded, "When 'Squid Game' first came out, I had no idea it would spark such a reaction overseas."
He added, "At that time, it was during the COVID-19 pandemic, so I didn't get the chance to travel abroad. After about a year, when I finally went out, people recognized me everywhere. In restaurants, they even gave me dessert as a complimentary treat. It was such a kind gesture. It's always nice when people recognize me in Korea and show their support, but it felt just as kind and thoughtful when it happened overseas."
