On January 8, Lee Byung Hun had an interview with the press.
During the interview, Lee Byung Hun shared his thoughts on raising his daughter, who has just turned one year old.
"Having a daughter feels so different from raising a son. Every time I'm at home, I can't help but give her a hug. It's a completely different feeling compared to hugging a boy—boys tend to resist, so they feel heavier than they seem. But my daughter just snuggles in and stays calm. She's incredibly beautiful."
He added, "She lies quietly, often making cute little gestures as well. Her behavior is completely different from what I experienced raising a son."
When asked if his daughter looks more like him or his wife, actress Lee Min-jung, Lee Byung Hun said with a big smile, "At first, right after she was born, she looked exactly like me. But after she turned one, her face changed completely—she looks just like my wife now."

"My son isn't old enough to watch 'Squid Game,' but at school, he hears so much about it from his older friends. I think he even searches for short edited clips on YouTube. Every time he watches them, he asks so many questions. He asks things like, 'Do you die?' 'Who dies?' 'I heard that you're no longer the Front Man. Is that true?' There are a lot of things I just can't explain to a young child—it can get tricky sometimes."
He laughed, adding, "After the first season of 'Squid Game,' when we went to the basketball court together, he acted so differently than usual. He was clinging to me, giving me kisses—it was totally out of character! I was thinking, 'Why can't he be like this on other days too?!'"
