On January 6, an interview with Lee Dong Wook was held at a café in Jongno-gu, Seoul.
During the interview, Lee Dong Wook spoke about his recently-released film "Harbin."
"Harbin" is a historical drama directed by Woo Min-ho, set in 1909, following the tense pursuit between those heading to Harbin, China, and those chasing them, with Hyun Bin starring as Ahn Jung-geun, the Korean independence activist who assassinated Japan's first Prime Minister, Itō Hirobumi, that year.
Lee Dong Wook played Lee Chang-seop―a fictional Korean independence activist, who teams up with Hyun Bin's character on his mission.

"Perhaps due to the weight of his role, he was incredibly serious the whole time. He also displayed strong leadership as the main character. Even just watching him quietly from the side was reassuring," he added.
He continued, recalling, "There's a scene where Hyun Bin and I sit and have a quiet conversation. We created that scene improvisationally with the director. Without any prior discussion about how to approach it, we went straight into filming. As soon as the director said 'Action!' the exchange of glances and the chemistry between us felt amazing. It was a thrilling feeling I hadn't experienced in a long time while acting."
He then stated, "It made me realize that you can build natural chemistry without needing words. It's a scene that highlights the friendship and unwavering trust between Lee Chang-seop and Ahn Jung-geun, and it's one of my favorites."

"The city we were in, in Latvia, was quite small, so there wasn't much to do on our days off. All the actors would often go out and explore together."
"One time, Hyun Bin and I were heading out for a walk and ran into the director. He was like, 'Oh, where are you two going?' When we told him we were going for a walk, he laughed and said, 'Really? Good, good, very good! You two should keep doing things together, okay?' We had a good laugh about it," the actor said with a smile.
