[SBS Star] Lee Sang Woo Shares His Relationship with Kim So Yeon Is Better Now than Ever

Actor Lee Sang Woo shared that his relationship with his wife, actress Kim So Yeon, is better now than it was in the early days of our marriage. 

Recently, Lee Sang Woo participated in a photoshoot for a magazine, followed by an interview where he shared insights into his happy married life.

When asked, from the perspective of a husband, what kind of person Kim So Yeon is, Lee Sang Woo said, "She has a great mindset. After getting married, we've been learning from each other's good qualities and gradually erasing our less desirable traits, working toward harmony together."

He added, "Our relationship is even better now than it was in the early days of our marriage. Back then, we were in a period of adjustment, but now we've both learned to take a step back, yield, and be considerate of one another, which has created a positive cycle. I think all of this has been possible thanks to So Yeon's kind and generous nature, which has allowed us to build a harmonious marriage." 
Kim So Yeon is known for her incredible acting, especially her portrayals of villainous characters.

When asked if it feels strange to see a side of his wife on-screen that is so different from her real personality, Lee Sang Woo replied, "Honestly, people around me keep asking if I'm okay with it, but it truly doesn't bother me in any ways. She doesn't bring that character home, and we even practice lines together, so I think I've just gotten used to it."
Lee Sang Woo also shared that he and Kim So Yeon are inseparable on days when they are not working. "Thankfully, So Yeon tells me that being with me is her favorite thing. So we try to spend as much time together as we can on our days off," he said.

He continued, "We enjoy staying home, but we also love going for drives. We'll grab some coffee, hit the road, and take in the scenery while chatting about everything from work to relationships," painting a picture of their joyful married life.
Lee Sang Woo and Kim So Yeon got married in June 2017 after portraying a married couple in the 2016 MBC drama "Happy Home."
